It took moving to New Mexico to get the colors to photograph true! It's amazing the color shift pollution or a lot of humidity will give you...

haha, true. I've moved from a small country village in Switzerland to a large (note that probably only to me it is large) city in New Zealand. The change in lighting and the atmosphere is really something.

Hmm, I will keep that in mind about the hands-- proportionally, it rings true to an open palm, base to fingertip measured against my face if the jaw is open-- which makes the fingertips fall at the brow line instead of closer to my hairline. Also, they're curled and the cuff of the sleeve falls over the base of the mound of venus.

What's real doesn't always necessarily *look right*.

I can believe it. I live at a high altitude, so the air is thinner and the light is crisper here. The colors in the sky and landscape are always fantastic. I was once in a city in a depression near a river-- and you could see the brownish discoloration in the sky for 50 or so miles.

No no-- your blood thins after awhile and it's okay. I just can't drink as much wine anymore, which took me quite by surprise.

haha, true. It all goes to your head, or so I found after a glass of bubbly my nana gave to me at her birthday.
